Title of project: Genetic enhancement of maize for the development of high yielding and climate resilient hybrids
Objective:
- To Screen and identify existing maize inbreds for abiotic stress tolerance and development of new productive inbreds
- To develop and identify high yielding and stress tolerant maize hybrids for different stresses.
- To Understand the relationship between molecular diversity, combining ability and heterotic grouping
