Thus DHM117 (BH 40625) was approved by 66th Meeting of Central Sub-Committee on Crop Standards, Notification and Release of Varieties for Agriculture Crops to extend its area for cultivation in Bihar during both kharif and rabi season thus stand released and notified for the state of Bihar. Involved in breeding of medium duration maize single cross hybrid, DHM121 (BH41009), which was identified for release for commercial cultivation during kharif season for north eastern plain zone (III) and central western zone (V) comprising different states viz., West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan during 56th Annual Maize Workshop held from April 6-8, 2013 at ANGRAU, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. |
