  • Development of four maize inbreds with unique traits namely DQL 2048 DQL 2105-1 DML-339 DQL-1019
  • Developed and identified 41 maize inbred lines resistant to Turcicum Leaf Blight (TLB) out of these four inbreds namely IML 11, IML 21, IML 12 & IML 13 submitted for registration in ICAR-NBPGR.
  • Developed and contributed several maize hybrid entries in AICRP trials, six hybrids are in final stage of testing in AVT-II, seven hybrids in AVT-I, and two babycorn hybrids in AVT-I.
  • Produced 201 q. breeder seed of 8 maize parental lines, quality seed of five wheat varieties (1850 q) and five soybean varieties (980 q).
  • Diversified cropping system through the introduction of soyabean varieties and production of their quality seed in Begusarai and adjoining districts of Bihar leading to popularity of Maize- soybean cropping system
